HD Hyundai Marine Solution Tech (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") values the personal information of data subjects. It complies with the relevant laws on personal information protection, including the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act. We will handle personal information collected, retained, and processed in accordance with relevant laws lawfully and appropriately to ensure proper business performance and protect the rights of data subjects.

However, the following exceptions apply when there is a need to preserve such personal information under relevant laws:

1) Records regarding consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

2) Records of site visits: 3 months (retention of communication fact confirmation data under Article 41 of the Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

3) Other cases where individual customer consent is obtained: period for which consent was obtained

Notwithstanding the above retention periods, if there is a continued need to retain information, we will obtain customer consent.

Article 3: Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company provides personal information to third parties only in cases covered by Articles 17 and 18 of the "Personal Information Protection Act," such as with the data subject's consent or under special provisions of law. When providing personal information to third parties, it will be announced through the website notice board.

B.When entering into a consignment contract, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company specifies in written contracts matters concerning the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of performing consigned tasks, security measures, restrictions on re-consignment, management and supervision of consignees, and liability for damages. The Company supervises whether consignees process personal information securely.

C.If the content of consigned tasks or the consignee changes, we will promptly disclose this through this Privacy Policy.

Article 7. Matters Concerning the Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

The Company does not currently operate devices that automatically collect personal information generated during the use of services, such as cookies. However, if it becomes necessary to provide services in the future, the Company may install and operate automatic collection devices. In such cases, data subjects will have the option to consent to the installation of cookies or to refuse the storage of all cookies.

Cookies are very small text files sent by the server operating a website to the data subject’s browser and stored on the hard disk of the data subject’s computer. When the data subject visits the website again, the website server reads the contents of the cookies stored on the hard disk to maintain the data subject’s settings and provide customized services.
